The Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University organized and held an honoring ceremony on the 24th of April, 2018 for the 2017 graduates granted Distinction and Very Good general grades of their B.Sc. degrees from all faculty departments, together with engineers who were granted the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in the same year of 2017. Pioneer engineers who were graduated 50 years ago in 1967, from all departments, were also honored together with faculty members granted State and University Awards of Scientific Research.
The ceremony was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Osman El Khosht, the President of Cairo University in the Greatest Ceremony Hall under the Cairo University Dome, while the Faculty Dean – Prof. Dr. El‐Sayed Tag El‐Din – has invited his Excellency Engineer Ibrahim Mahlab the former Priminister, the Giza Governer Kamal El‐Daly, together with engineer ministers who were graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University to be honored, beside engineers from different authorities representing the building and construction sector, the industry and communications. The invitation was also extended to Prof. Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, the General Secretary of the Arab Universities Federation, together with a number of university presidents and vice presidents with professors and students.
